At Affordable International Travel, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while covering the costs incurred in preparing your safari, tour, or travel arrangement.
1. Cancellation by the Client
All cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Refunds are processed as follows:
- 30 days or more before departure
→ Refund of payments made minus non-refundable deposits, bank charges, and third-party fees. - 15–29 days before departure
→ 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded. - 7–14 days before departure
→ 25% of the total tour cost will be refunded. - Less than 7 days before departure or no-show
→ No refund will be issued.
Please note: Some accommodations, flights, park fees, permits, and climbing arrangements are non-refundable regardless of cancellation date.
2. Cancellation or Changes by Affordable International Travel
We reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour due to:
- Weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions)
- Insufficient bookings
In such cases:
- We will offer a rescheduled tour, alternative itinerary, or refund for services not delivered.
3. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
- Bank and transaction fees are deducted
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method
4. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical emergencies
- Evacuation
- Lost luggage
